Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Closer to Completion

Date: 2016-10-21view:

The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge is an ongoing construction project and is closer to completion. On Oct. 8, 2016, the assembling mission of the first curve section (33° sections) of the undersea tunnel has already been successfully completed.
This project consists of a series of bridges and tunnels crossing the Lingdingyang channel that will connect Hong Kong, Macao and Zhuhai, three major cities on the Pearl River Delta in China. The 50km link is expected to cost US$10.6 billion. With its length, it would become one of the landmarks within the area.
Once in operation, the four-hour drive from Hong Kong to Zhuhai will be reduced to less than an hour. All Pearl River Delta cities will then be within a reasonable commuting radius of Hong Kong.
Self drilling ground anchor technology is an efficient and friendly anchoring method applied for the bridge base construction, but also adapts to several projects, such as mine, hydro-junction, slope stabilization, river bank, retaining walls, foundation support, etc.
Faced with the complicated sea environment, it’s critical to choose an efficient product to guarantee the construction speed and reliable construction quality as well as the safety of workers. Self drilling ground anchor has the features of safety, durability, reliability, efficiency and adaptability. It has a broad application prospect for the water conservancy projects.
